17:30-19:30
How often have you fallen in love in the last 3 days? Has someone vowed to love and cherish you and you alone? Forever and ever? Have you fallen in love with them? Can you trust them? Are they really who you think they are? Within the queer culture that we currently navigate, expressing the grandiose, madly romantic extremes of love might possibly be rather frowned upon? In this workshop you will be able to exercise your acting skills and plumb the depths of your emotional range as we re-create a 19th century mad scene.
The framework will be very precise (taken from the 1840 ballet "Giselle") while you are invited to bring every nuance of your unique experience to inhabit your role(s). You can also choose to participate as a supporting character (villager or noble) if that's more your thing.
