Crocheting your very own jockstrap! with Ricardo Higuera
Crochet and jockstrap are two words that, apparently, have nothing in common. Well, that is not true! Join this workshop and begin your journey to crochet your very own jockstrap and hopefully your very own private collection! (But why private though?!) We'll go through the basic steps of crochet and you'll receive a pattern to continue your project at home at your own rhythm.
Ricardo was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. He works as a journalist, but in 2016 decided to be part of a life-changing project: the foundation of ""Hombres Tejedores"", a group of men that takes knitting to streets and public places.
He currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal, where is taking part in the Gender Studies PhD program and also coordinating groups of men to analyze and deconstruct hegemonic masculinity under the project ""Men Talks"
