Being queer and male perhaps for many of us has been precarious, painful, persecutory or even perhaps for some powerful and pleasurable.
What does being male mean for us as queer men? How do we step into our light and shine it boldly, bravely, authentically, compassionately and responsibly?
This workshop seeks to:
* Explore the themes of gender identity especially in today’s world, what does it mean to be male, exploring privilege and responsibility.
* Explore how our gender identity governs our interactions with one another and whether they are mutually beneficial, enjoyable, nurturing, nourishing and fulfilling.
* Use Ann Ladd’s Theory of Personality and explore the five layers of our personality and how these layers influence our relationship with our gender and how we chose to express it in our various lives.
