How can we use erotic play to heal our traumas (both individual and inter-generational)? What is required for us to set up an erotic play that consciously takes trauma as its script? In this workshop I will share with you my research in this field over the last 15 years and invite you into a conversation about how you may want to bring this awareness into your life. The feeling of safety will be our guiding thread.

Peter Banki, Ph.D. is director of Erotic Living and the Festival of Death and Dying, based in Sydney, Australia. With Stuart McMinn, he also co-directs Nangamay Ngurra: a First Nations healing camp. He obtained his Ph.D in German studies from New York University in 2009. His Ph.D was published as The Forgiveness to Come: the Holocaust and the Hyper-Ethical (New York: Fordham UP, 20018).
