For a lot of members of our queer community in low income communities or economies it is impossible to join a STRETCH FESTIVAL for financial reasons. However, often in these communities, input such as the content of the Stretch Festival is very needed. We are trying to close the wealth gap within our global community a bit more by enabling the participation of community members who otherwise might not have the opportunity to join. We want everyone to feel like they can participate in our festival regardless of economic background.

Our previous editions brought together many participants from all over the world, especially Africa, Asia and South America. It was a special and powerful moment of community and support.

 

April Stretch Festival 2022 is sensual, spiritual and experimental. In the end it's all about finally getting together as a community and sharing stories and experiences with each other. 🧡 

Buy a solidarity ticket:

You can support our friends in low income countries joining the festival by donating an Online Stretch Ticket for one or more people here (you will be redirected to our partner ticket.io). These tickets will be offered to participants who apply for the Stretch Online Solidarity Program. 

Make a donation:
You can support the solidarity program by making a donation to our charity Queer Matters e.V.. This donation will be used to pay part of the organization and communication costs, the compensation of the facilitators and to support the team of volunteers who run the 3 day program. 
These donations are tax deductible.

Help with translation:​

During the festival, you can volunteer to help with (written) translations in different languages, such as French, Kiswahili, Spanish, etc. You can also attend Zoom to welcome our guests and share their experience and collect their feedback and expectations for the next editions of the Festival. If you would like to participate in Stretch Festival Online on 15, 16 & 17 April (Berlin time) and connect with gay, bi, trans and queer men* from all over the world, we invite you to fill out this invitation, and you will receive a free pass for the 3 days of the festival. 
This invitation is for people from all over the world who could benefit from attending, but do not have the financial means to join our program. We hope to create an empowering festival for queer people. This experience has a beautiful impact entering this global community.
