Has the mainstream, marketed idea of being “queer” dissolved or superimposed itself onto distinct BIPoC queer identities? Can they coexist, or must there be a compromise? We will explore how BIPoC core values — shaped by culture, religion, gender expression, community, history and migration — have shaped (or not shaped) our journeys as contemporary queer BIPoC people. This space offers introspection, exchange, and healing (both touch and ritualistic).
A BIPoC-exclusive workshop.

Mayur

Mayur (peacock in Sanskrit) opens feathers to explore this theme in a queer space for the first time.
Drawing from over a decade of engagement across queer-themed workshops and community spaces, I bring a reflective and questioning lens to queerness — especially where perspectives become static, dynamics remain unspoken.
Scientist by training, deep thinker by inclination, and self-proclaimed designer and dancer, rooted in lived cultural contexts.
