Many people experience challenges in maintaining a sexual connection with the same partner over time. In this workshop, we explore common underlying reasons and discover creative ways to keep intimacy alive beyond the early stage of excitement. We will explore arousal patterns and what “getting in the mood” really means from a nervous system perspective. Through embodied and experiential exercises, we’ll look at the familiar dynamic of one partner initiating sex while the other isn’t ready. By attuning to body wisdom and listening to each other’s experiences, we open space for deeper understanding and new possibilities for connection.
