Somatic bellydance

Minu is an Egyptian-born, Berlin-based belly dancer and performance artist. Their work explores bellydance as a living practice of embodiment, memory, pleasure and queer self-expression. Through Somatic Bellydance, They invite people to move from sensation rather than performance, listening to the body through breath, presence and gentle exploration. Their practice is informed by Body-Mind Centering, somatic education and performance/Theatre. They share their practice in an open and community-oriented format, creating spaces that are welcoming to all bodies, genders and movement experiences.
