We begin to cultivate presence. We are here to re-evaluate what it means to contact, moving far past mechanical or academic rules. We drop, roll, shake, and encounter each other. The collective landscape is shaped by the physical intensity of eachother’s energy, the groundedness of perreo lento, the rhythmic freedom of twerking.
This practice navigates the boundaries between contact and its complete absence, exploring what movement can be when it breathes through a raw, unpolished throat. We map our moving identities and cosmic configurations directly onto each other's skin. The space is driven by a layered, continuous pulse of music, colliding, shuffling. Our movement is inherently social and shared. We treat the dancefloor as a site where borders dissolve and collective joy becomes a necessary form of resistance. Come as you are.

Juan Urbina

I’m a dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Germany. My work bridges South American heritage, contemporary movement, and social engagement. I have led community projects across Latin America and Europe, including workshops for LGBTQ+ youth, people experiencing homelessness, and multigenerational groups.
Navigating migration, queerness, and cultural hybridity, I use movement and parallel poetic practices to hold space for stories that often go untold. My creations include the duet ¿Like Liebe a Primera Vista? and Hug Him in the Midst of Sawdust. I am always seeking new ways to move and be moved, in queer, pleasure-positive, and healing-centered spaces.
