Studio 3

What happens when the body is no longer experienced as an individual territory, but as part of a shared space? Through movement, sensory awareness, repetition, simple performative scores and exercises in relation, this workshop explores how bodies can listen, respond and support one another. Participants are invited to move between individual and collective states, exploring presence, trust, vulnerability and interdependence. The workshop is process-based and welcomes different levels of movement and performance experience.

Yiannis Pappas
Yiannis Pappas is a Greek artist based in Berlin who works across performance, installation, sculpture, photography, video and education. His practice explores the body through concepts such as duration, repetition, ritual, vulnerability and collective experience. He has presented long-duration and participatory performances internationally, including at the Gropius Bau, the Southbank Centre, the Bangkok Biennale and the Athens Biennale. He also runs performance education programmes and peer-based artistic exchanges, creating situations in which bodies, attention and shared processes become tools for exploring social and relational structures.
