Jasco Viefhues

Jasco Viefhues is a director and dramaturg. His work brings together film, theatre, research and archives, with a focus on Afrodiasporic and queer histories and presents. He studied directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) and worked as a director and dramaturg at Ballhaus Naunynstraße in Berlin. Since 2023, he has been a dramaturg at Schauspiel Dortmund. His work often moves between bodies, memory, images and shared movement.
